Emberwick Embroidery Pattern Pack (Digital)
The maker's pitch
Eight motifs, drawn by hand at my bench in Emberwick — hearth flame, ember moth, the tailor's shears, thimble & thistle, lantern bough, spool & ivy, the kindling wren carrying her coal, and the needle-compass star. No clip art, no traced stock, no AI slurry of petals. Just ink lines with a little soot in them, made by someone who actually threads a needle for a living.
You get print-ready transfer sheets (PDF + 300 dpi PNG, letter and A4), sized so each motif drops straight into a 4" or 5" hoop, plus a stitch guide that tells you exactly which stitch does what: fishbone for the moth wings, whipped backstitch for the shears, long-and-short in three golds for the flame so it reads hot at the base and pale at the tip. A full DMC palette is listed, with a cheaper six-thread version for the frugal.
This is folk-fantasy needlework with a village behind it. Stitch one for a jacket back, a bread cloth, a pocket, a patch for someone you like. Sell what you make — the license lets you, up to 200 finished pieces a year, no credit required (though I'll never object to being named).
Nine dollars. Instant download. Print it tonight, trace it by the window, and have a moth on your cuff by Sunday.
